About Us

Freedom Therapy Services provides ABA Early Intervention and Positive Behaviour Support Services to children and teens with developmental disabilities. We also specialise in Social Skills Development Groups for children and teens in our clinic, online remotely, and out in the community. Our services are currently supporting students in Western Sydney, North-western Sydney, Sutherland Shire, and St George areas. We provide flexible, individualised, evidence-based and effective services to our clients, providing services in both a clinic and home setting. We also train Behaviour Therapists to support our clients in their Home, School, and Community to implement their skills acquisition and behaviour support plans. Behaviour Consultant:

The Role

We are seeking a passionate, professional and talented Behaviour Support Practitioner, Master’s Graduate in ABA, or Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA or CBA) to join our team. The job would entail providing services to our clients in-clinic, remotely, in the community and home environment. Additionally, this person would support the development our growing team of Behaviour Therapists and Therapy Assistants. This role is available for part-time and casual work. You will need availability for after-school therapy sessions. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements which will suit your lifestyle.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Writing, implementing, and evaluating quality, individualised and evidence-based behaviour programs
  • Conducting assessments
  • Writing NDIS reports
  • Training behaviour therapists
  • Direct service provision
  • Maintaining communication between team members and families
  • Conducting functional assessments and functional behaviour assessments
  • Working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in the Allied Health, Education, or Psychology Sector
  • A Master’s Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis
  • A BCBA or BCaBA qualification, or a willingness to attain these qualifications is highly regarded (supervision and ongoing supervision will be provided).
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience providing ABA Early intervention or Behaviour Support Services and supervision
  • Previous experience with management or supervision of trainees’ experience is highly regarded
  • Proven track record developing skill acquisition plans, conducting assessments, and developing behaviour support plans verified by professional references
  • Experience working with children with ASD aged 4 – 12 is essential
  • Experience working with teenagers with ASD is highly regarded
  • Valid Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Current right to work in Australia

Senior Behaviour Therapist/Junior Behaviour Therapist:

The Role

Currently we are looking for talented and enthusiastic Therapy Assistants and Senior Behaviour Therapists to join our professional and supportive team. Work will be conducted in a one-to-one capacity, assisting our clients with their independence and quality of life, from our clients’ homes in the Paramatta and Blacktown area. We need individuals with availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week.

There will also be opportunities to assist with the facilitation of our Social Skills groups in the community or in our clinic located in Caringbah.

Locations are all across Sydney, but more specifically at this point in time in areas close to North-western Sydney, Paramatta and the Sutherland Shire.

Speech Therapist / Speech Language Pathologist

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to enhancing the communication and language skills of young individuals. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions to address various speech and language disorders.

Qualifications

Child Psychologist

The Role

Experience

  • 1+ years’ experience working as a AHPRA Registered Psychologist
  • Experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing therapeutic interventions
