Speech and Language Pathologist (Speech Therapist)
Speech Pathologist – Join Our Growing Team!
Are you a passionate Speech Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact?
At Freedom Therapy Services, we provide evidence-based and client-centred therapy to NDIS participants. In particular, we support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and deliver therapy to support communication and language development.
Additionally, you will work with both children and adults across a range of settings.
About the Role
✔️ Location: Clinic-based in Caringbah, as well as community and home-based services across Sydney
✔️ Employment Type: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities available
✔️ Caseload: Work with paediatric, adolescent, and adult clients
In this role, you will tailor interventions to each individual. As a result, you will provide meaningful and personalised support.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication challenges
🔹 Develop individualised therapy plans
🔹 Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve communication, social interaction, and literacy skills
🔹 Provide parent and caregiver coaching to support communication goals at home
🔹 Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
🔹 Collaborate with Behaviour Analysts and other professionals
🔹 Develop NDIS therapy reports, progress updates, and recommendations
🔹 Stay up to date with best practices and developments in Speech Pathology
What We’re Looking For
Essential Criteria:
✔️ Degree in Speech Pathology
✔️ Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
✔️ Minimum of 12 months’ experience working with NDIS participants and children with autism
✔️ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
✔️ Excellent time management and organisational skills

✔️ Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

Psychologist
Child Psychologist – Join Our Growing Team!
Freedom Therapy Services is a values-driven allied health practice based in Caringbah. We provide evidence-based and person-centred support to NDIS participants and families across Sydney.
We are looking for a Psychologist with a strong interest in working with children and adolescents. In particular, we value clinicians who use developmentally appropriate and engaging approaches.
Additionally, confidence in supporting teenagers is highly valued. An interest in neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism and ADHD, is also important. Furthermore, experience supporting anxiety, trauma, and emotional regulation is highly regarded.
About the Role

✔️ Client Focus: Primarily children and adolescents with developmental, emotional, and behavioural needs

In this role, you will provide therapy and assessment for children and adolescents. In addition, you will work closely with families and support networks.
You will deliver services in a supportive team environment. As a result, you will gain valuable clinical experience across a range of presentations.

🔹 Support presentations such as anxiety, emotional regulation, trauma, and behavioural challenges

Behaviour Specialist
Behaviour Specialist (NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner) – Join Our Growing Team!

We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner and/or Certified Behaviour Analyst. In particular, we value clinicians who focus on practical, real-world outcomes.
Additionally, we are seeking someone who enjoys working closely with families and support teams. This role focuses on ongoing implementation, not just plan writing.
About the Role
✔️ Location: Caringbah clinic + community-based across Sydney + telehealth
✔️ Client focus: Children, adolescents and adults (across the lifespan)

✔️ Minimum: NDIS-Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core/Proficient/Advanced)

In this senior clinical role, you will provide advanced behavioural assessment, consultation and skill development supports across clinic, home, community and remote settings. You’ll also contribute to clinical leadership, supervision and service development.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBA) and complex case assessments
🔹 Develop, review, and oversee NDIS Behaviour Support Plans (Interim and Comprehensive)
🔹 Design and evaluate function-based behaviour support and skill development programs
🔹 Provide ongoing implementation support through coaching, modelling, and troubleshooting
🔹 Work collaboratively with families, schools, and support teams
🔹 Set up practical data tracking systems and review progress regularly
🔹 Refine strategies based on data and participant outcomes
🔹 Provide specialist consultation and contribute to best-practice service delivery
🔹 Supervise, mentor, and support Behaviour Specialists and Therapy Assistants (where appropriate)
🔹 Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance
What We’re Looking For
Essential Criteria
✔️ Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Allied Health, Education, or a related field
✔️ NDIS-Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core, Proficient, or Advanced)
✔️ Minimum of 3+ years’ experience delivering PBS or behaviour support (or equivalent competency)
✔️ Strong skills in functional assessment, intervention design, and stakeholder coaching
✔️ Strong report writing and clinical documentation skills
✔️ Current Working With Children Check, First Aid, and CPR
✔️ Australian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
✔️ Current right to work in Australia
Highly Regarded (Ideal Candidate)
✨ BCBA, CBA, or equivalent, and/or a Masters in ABA
