Speech Pathologist – Join Our Growing Team!

Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact? At Freedom Therapy Services, we provide evidence-based, client-centred therapy to NDIS participants with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our supportive, multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions to support communication and language development for children and adults.

About the Role

✔️ Location: Clinic-based (Caringbah), community, and home-based services across Western Sydney, South Western Sydney, Sutherland Shire, and St George
✔️ Employment Type: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities available
✔️ Caseload: Work with paediatric, adolescent, and adult clients, tailoring interventions to their individual needs

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Assess, diagnose, and provide individualised therapy plans for clients with speech, language, and communication challenges
🔹 Deliver evidence-based interventions to enhance communication, social interaction, and literacy skills
🔹 Provide parent and caregiver coaching to support clients’ communication goals at home
🔹 Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including Behaviour Analysts and Occupational Therapists
🔹 Develop and implement NDIS therapy reports, progress updates, and client recommendations
🔹 Stay updated on best practices and new developments in Speech Pathology

What We’re Looking For

Essential Criteria:

✔️ Degree in Speech Pathology
✔️ Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
✔️ Minimum 12 months’ experience working with NDIS participants and children with ASD
✔️ Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build rapport with clients, families, and support teams
✔️ Excellent time management and organisational skills
✔️ Commitment to ongoing professional development
✔️ Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

Psychologist

Child Psychologist – Join Our Growing Team!

Freedom Therapy Services is a values-driven allied health practice in Caringbah, providing evidence-based, person-centred support to NDIS participants and families across Sydney. We’re looking for a Psychologist with a strong interest in working with children and adolescents, using developmentally appropriate and engaging approaches, and who feels confident supporting teenagers. An interest in neurodevelopmental conditions (ASD/ADHD), alongside broader experience (anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation), is highly valued.

About the Role

✔️ Location: Clinic-based in Caringbah and Mobile in the Sydney area
✔️ Client Focus: Primarily children & adolescents (with neurodevelopmental, emotional and behavioural needs)

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Deliver evidence-based, age-appropriate therapy (play-based where relevant)
🔹 Support presentations including anxiety, emotional regulation, trauma, behavioural challenges and social difficulties

🔹 Highly valued: Autism assessments and cognitive assessments (e.g., cognitive profiling to support functional recommendations and planning)

Behaviour Specialist

Behaviour Specialist (NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner) – Join Our Growing Team!

We’re looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner and/or Certified Behaviour Analyst who values practical, real-world outcomes and enjoys working closely with families and support teams to drive ongoing implementation (not just plan writing).

About the Role

✔️ Location: Caringbah clinic + community-based across Sydney + telehealth
✔️ Client focus: Children, adolescents and adults (across the lifespan)

✔️ Minimum: NDIS-Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core/Proficient/Advanced)
✔️ Ideal: BCBA / equivalent and/or Masters in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)

In this senior clinical role, you will provide advanced behavioural assessment, consultation and skill development supports across clinic, home, community and remote settings. You’ll also contribute to clinical leadership, supervision and service development.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBA) and complex case assessments
🔹 Develop, review and oversee NDIS Behaviour Support Plans (Interim + Comprehensive)
🔹 Design and evaluate function-based behaviour support and skill development programs
🔹 Provide ongoing implementation support (coaching, modelling and troubleshooting) for families, schools, and support teams
🔹 Set up practical data tracking and review progress to refine strategies over time
🔹 Provide specialist consultation and contribute to best-practice service delivery
🔹 Supervise, mentor and support Behaviour Specialists / Therapy Assistants (where appropriate)
🔹 Contribute to service development, quality improvement and clinical governance

What We’re Looking For

Essential Criteria

✔️ Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Allied Health, Education, or a related field
✔️ NDIS-Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core / Proficient / Advanced)
✔️ Minimum 3+ year’s experience delivering PBS/behaviour support (or equivalent competency)
✔️ Strong skills in functional assessment, intervention design, and stakeholder coaching
✔️ Strong report writing and clinical documentation skills
✔️ WWCC, First Aid & CPR, Australian driver’s licence + access to a vehicle
✔️ Current right to work in Australia

Highly Regarded (Ideal Candidate)

BCBA / CBA / equivalent and/or Masters in ABA
✨ Strong foundations in applied behaviour analysis (function-based intervention, skill acquisition, reinforcement, data-based decision making)
✨ Experience with complex and high-support needs / multi-stakeholder environments (schools, SIL)
✨ Experience supervising and mentoring clinicians / delivering training and workshops
