At Freedom Therapy Services, we provide Behaviour Support, Psychology, and skills-based Early Intervention for children, teens, and adults. Whether you’re seeking help for emotional regulation, anxiety, challenging behaviours, or building stronger social skills, we’re here to support you or your family.

We work with neurodivergent individuals, people with disabilities, and anyone navigating social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. Our clinicians offer practical, evidence-informed strategies that promote confidence, independence, and meaningful progress.

 We aim to provide accessible, high-quality, and evidence-based therapy and education services — including Behaviour Support, Psychology, and ABA Therapy — for individuals of all ages across Sydney and beyond.

Whether we’re supporting someone with a disability, mental health challenge, or developmental delay, our mission is to empower clients to build independence, gain confidence, and feel fully accepted in their communities.

Emma Davidson

Clinical and Managing Director, and Behaviour Specialist (BCBA) 

About Emma

Emma is the Clinical and Managing Director of Freedom Therapy Services, which she has proudly led for the past six years. A Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner, she has over 12 years of practical clinical expertise supporting children, adolescents, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, behavioural disorders, psychosocial disabilities, genetic conditions, dementia, and other developmental needs.

Emma has worked extensively in schools, community-based services, and a wide variety of care contexts, giving her a deep understanding of how to tailor supports to real-life environments. Drawing on her background as a Psychology graduate from the University of Wollongong and a Master of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Monash University, she combines strong academic foundations with hands-on clinical practice and leadership. She leads a multidisciplinary team across Sydney, ensuring supports are always evidence-based, trauma-informed, neurodivergence-affirming, and person-centred.

Emma is passionate about walking alongside families and care teams to create supports that truly matter. She believes every person deserves dignity, choice, and opportunities that reflect their values and strengths. Her focus is on making lasting positive change in people’s lives — whether through building communication, strengthening relationships, fostering independence, or supporting fuller inclusion in the community. Her mission at Freedom Therapy Services is to nurture supportive, inclusive environments where people with disabilities are given every opportunity to thrive.

Jasmina Zengovska

Registered Psychologist and Behaviour Specialist

About Jasmina

Jasmina has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology. She practices as a Registered Psychologist. With over 3.5 years of experience in the field, she has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of mental health presentations, neurodiverse profiles, and disabilities—particularly within the NDIS framework. Jasmina is also a proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner. 

Her professional experience includes providing one-on-one psychological and behaviour therapy, conducting psychological assessments, and preparing detailed reports and support recommendations tailored to individual client needs. Jasmina is passionate about delivering person-centred, evidence-based care and creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered.

Jasmina has interest in working with individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, mood disorders, grief and loss, complex trauma and PTSD, as well as difficulties in interpersonal relationships. She brings a strong foundation in psychology, behavioural support, therapy planning, and collaborative practice, and is committed to supporting clients in achieving meaningful outcomes and enhancing their overall wellbeing.

Fatmata Deborah Beckley

Senior Behaviour Specialist (CBA)

About Deborah

Deborah has over four years of experience in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). She holds a Bachelor of Psychology from Australian Catholic University and a Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Griffith University. Deborah is a Certified Behaviour Analyst, having completed her supervised field training, and is also a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner.
She has worked with a diverse range of clients, including young children in early intervention, teenagers, and young adults (ages 19–25), delivering both 1:1 therapy and group-based social skills programs in person and via Telehealth.
Deborah also supervises junior and senior therapists in the implementation of therapy goals and behaviour support programs across multiple domains.
She is particularly interested in expanding her expertise into specialised areas within behaviour analysis, including working with individuals experiencing Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Melissa Davidson

Educator and Behaviour Specialist

About Melissa

Melissa is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of developmental, behavioural, and psychosocial needs. Since 2020, Melissa has been working at Freedom Therapy Services, providing person-centred support to individuals and families across diverse settings.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Melissa has also worked within school settings across Sydney, collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes for students.
Melissa has extensive experience leading and supervising social skills programs for a variety of age groups and has been developing and writing curriculums for these programs since 2023. Her work focuses on building social, emotional, and behavioural capacity through evidence-based and individualised approaches.
Melissa has experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, behavioural disorders, psychosocial disabilities, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), genetic conditions, and a range of other developmental needs. Melissa is passionate about promoting independence, improving quality of life, and empowering individuals to achieve meaningful goals.

Lianna Bamberg

Registered Psychologist and Behaviour Specialist

About Lianna

Lianna is a Registered Psychologist skilled in supporting children, adolescents, and adults across clinical, NDIS, and forensic settings. She is trained in evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and has delivered both individual and group interventions. She has extensive experience working with ADHD, autism, and other neurodevelopmental and behavioural needs, and adapts her work to be developmentally appropriate.

Lianna has conducted comprehensive cognitive and academic assessments for children and adolescents, and works closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to implement effective strategies across home, school, and community settings. She is experienced in supporting a range of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, and trauma, and has facilitated social skills programs that build communication, social, and emotional regulation skills in a fun and practical way.

More recently, Lianna has worked within the criminal justice system, developing skills in behaviour support, risk assessment, and complex presentations. She is now returning to her passion for working with children and adolescents.

Lianna takes a warm, collaborative, and engaging approach incorporating creative, play-based strategies to support client engagement and learning. She prioritises a strong therapeutic relationship and understands that patience and compassion are key to fostering growth. Lianna recognises that meaningful change comes from balancing support with gentle challenge so clients can transcend unhelpful patterns and respond to challenges in new, adaptive ways.

Aasiya Yaseen

Behaviour Specialist

About Aasiya

Aasiya is a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner and holds a Bachelor of Psychology from Macquarie University. She is currently completing a Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis and is working towards becoming a Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA).

Aasiya has experience supporting children, teenagers, and young adults through behavioural intervention services and enjoys working collaboratively with individuals, families, and support networks to achieve meaningful outcomes. She has a particular interest in helping individuals develop independence, build confidence, strengthen daily living skills, and improve their overall quality of life. Aasiya is also passionate about expanding her practice to support adults with developmental disabilities and complex behavioural needs.

Committed to evidence-based and person-centred practice, Aasiya finds great fulfilment in empowering individuals to reach their goals and participate more fully in their homes, schools, workplaces, and communities. She values building strong relationships with the people she supports and guiding families through each stage of their journey with compassion, respect, and dedication.

Outside of work, Aasiya enjoys exploring new places and spending time with family and friends.

Taya Cussen

Behaviour Specialist

About Taya

Taya is passionate about creating supportive, engaging, and person-centred environments where children, teenagers, and adults feel safe, valued, and understood. She places strong importance on building genuine rapport and trusting relationships, empowering participants to actively engage in their own learning, skill development, and goal achievement.

Taya values respect, collaboration, and individualised support for each participant. She is committed to working closely with families, loved ones, support workers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure goals are meaningful, achievable, and aligned with each person’s strengths, preferences, and values.

Taya has completed her Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) certification and holds a Certificate in Engaging in Positive Behaviour Support Practices through Monash University. She has experience supporting individuals across a range of ages and support needs, including adolescents and adults with complex behavioural, mental health, and psychosocial presentations. Through her Behaviour Support Practitioner work, Taya has developed skills in implementing Positive Behaviour Support strategies, collecting and analysing behavioural data, developing skill-building programs, and working collaboratively with support networks to improve quality of life and reduce behaviours of concern.

Taya is passionate about ongoing professional development and is committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate, and strengths-based support that promotes independence, wellbeing, and meaningful participation in everyday life.

Outside of work, Taya enjoys game nights, baking, and hosting events for family and friends.

Wakeela Batool

Behaviour Specialist

About Wakeela

Wakeela is an experienced Diversional Therapist with four years of expertise in designing and delivering evidence-based behavioural interventions for children and teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She specialises in enhancing communication, social, emotional regulation, and daily living skills through structured and play-based approaches, tailoring support to each individual’s unique strengths, goals, and needs.

Proficient in Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and Verbal Behaviour (VB) strategies, Wakeela also has extensive experience supporting communication development through PECS, LAMP, and Proloquo2Go. She has worked with individuals across a range of ages and support needs, helping to build confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in everyday activities.

Passionate about fostering growth, inclusion, and meaningful connections, Wakeela is dedicated to creating engaging and supportive learning environments where individuals can develop skills, achieve their goals, and reach their full potential.

In her free time, she enjoys travelling, shopping, and playing badminton.

Behaviour Specialist

About Sarah

Sarah is currently completing a Bachelor of Psychology at Macquarie University and has a strong passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. She is particularly interested in promoting emotional wellbeing, independence, social inclusion, and quality of life through person-centred and strengths-based support.

Growing up with an autistic brother has provided Sarah with valuable firsthand insight into the experiences of neurodivergent individuals and their families. This has shaped her commitment to creating inclusive environments where people feel understood, supported, and empowered to reach their goals.

Sarah has volunteered at an autism camp in Victoria and has experience supporting children with diverse needs. She is passionate about helping individuals build confidence, develop meaningful skills, and navigate everyday challenges while recognising and celebrating their unique strengths.

Sarah is dedicated to ongoing learning and is committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and evidence-informed support that helps individuals thrive within their homes, communities, education settings, and workplaces.

About Elma

Elma holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science, majoring in Criminology, from UNSW and is currently completing a Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis at Monash University. Her interest in understanding human behaviour and supporting meaningful behaviour change led her to pursue a career in Applied Behaviour Analysis.

Elma is passionate about supporting adolescents and adults to increase independence, navigate everyday challenges, build confidence, and enhance their quality of life. She enjoys working collaboratively with individuals, families, and support networks to develop practical strategies that promote meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

As she works towards becoming a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), Elma remains dedicated to delivering evidence-based, person-centred support that respects individual choice, dignity, and goals. Through ongoing professional development, she continues to expand her knowledge and skills to provide the highest quality support to the people she serves.

About Zoe

Zoe is currently studying a double degree of Psychological Science & Social Science, majoring in Criminology.

She is interested in a career in psychology and is hoping to become a School Counsellor or working in a similar role.

Zoe is passionate about helping young people achieve their potential and hopes to make a career out of this.

Her hobbies include playing games, creating art, and listening to music.

Zoe grew up playing Minecraft and finds it rewarding and nostalgic to help our clients in our Online Minecraft Social Skills Classes.

About Tiana

Tiana is currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology at Macquarie University. She is a passionate and caring individual who works with children in a variety of settings, including being a Teachers Aid at a high school and an After School Care Educator at a primary school. When she is not at work, Tiana likes to spend time with her loved ones or go to the gym. In the future, Tiana wishes to pursue a career in Child Clinical Psychology, aiming to improve children’s well-being and build positive, professional relationships with her clients.

About Aly

Alyson is currently studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at the University of Notre Dame. She has previously volunteered as a Sports Coach for five years, working closely with kids with disabilities.

Having previously started studying a Bachelor of Secondary Education she realised through working with Freedom Social Skills that her true passion lies in helping children with disabilities.

Alyson is passionate about creating trusting relationships with her clients whilst also giving them the skills that they need to succeed in all aspects of their lives.

In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, playing soccer and reading.

About Paul

Paul is studying a Bachelor of Psychology with Macquarie University. Paul enjoys providing support and therapy assistance to a diverse population of students and works hard to take his knowledge from his degree and put this into practice with his clients. Paul is very active, enthusiastic and passionate getting along well with all his clients.

Paul is passionate about working towards Social Equity, with a long history of volunteering for Criminal and AOD rehabilitation working closely with individuals for extended periods of time. Pauls maintains a philosophical approach to his work and life drawing predominantly from Taoism with a strict adherence to research for problem solving. In his personal life Paul is very interested in plants and animals. During his time away from work Paul is a snowboarder, skateboarder, practices Tai Chi, enjoys art, reading and writing and studying philosophy, history, science, in particular metaphysics. Paul also loves to play Minecraft and Dungeons & Dragons and is involved in teaching our students these games.
